This is to enable parents, who have not already had the opportunity, to meet the Excellence Curriculum teacher â€" Miss Hay. The Parents’ Evening will allow you to receive feedback and discuss progress. You will be able to make appointments via the Parent Portal (https://insight.riddlesdown.org) which you will already have accessed to view your child’s reports, timetable and to update personal information. Further instructions for accessing the portal are attached to this letter. If you experience problems logging in to the portal, please follow the “don’t know your password?” link at the bottom of the screen. The booking system will open on Thursday 4th January at 6.00pm and close on Wednesday 10 th January 2018 at 6.00pm. username : "cardmaster21@gmail.com". Appointments will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis; a confirmed time will be sent home with your child on Thursday 11 th January 2018. I would like to emphasise that this evening is for those parents who have not already had a meeting with Miss Hay. The evening will take place in the Excellence Curriculum classroom A05. Parking will be available on site from 3.30pm and we would ask that all parents park on site rather than in Honister Heights. It is expected that your child will attend with you, in full school uniform; other children should not be brought to this event as we will be unable to make suitable provision for them. Any parent with a disability who requires special access arrangements should please contact Mrs Curtis as soon as possible. This guide explains how to book time slots with teachers. Log in via the ‘Parents’ area on our website or directly at https://insight.riddlesdown.org. (If you are unsure of your username or password and would like a reminder, click on 'Don't know your password? below the username and password box. By entering the email address, you have already provided to the school, an email will automatically be sent to you containing your username and a temporary password). If you have changed your email address, have not informed us and still have access to your previous email account, please use the old address and change your details once logged in. For any other data or general enquiries, please use the Contact page on our website to get in touch with the relevant college. Once logged onto the Parental Portal you will see your child’s name and the menu at the top of the page. Click ‘General’, then ‘Parents Evenings’ and you will be presented with a time grid and time slots against all of the staff your child is taught by (see example below): 2. To choose a time, simply click an available time next to a member of staff’s name and if it is available it will be moved to the time grid and saved automatically (see example below): Should you need to remove a time, click remove.
