Dear AUS parents, Students' MAP results are communicated by RIT scores. To understand student achievement by RIT the student's performance is compared to status norms for students testing in the same grade level, subject and time of year. The chart below indicates how your student's score compares to US norms in reading, language and math. (AUS does not currently MAP test in science.) For example, if your 6th grade student scored 217.3 on the Fall/Begin-Year Reading MAP test we can use the chart below to determine the student's achievement as compared to US norms. First, we look at the reading chart. Next, we drop down to 6th grade. Finally, we we look at the mean score for Begin-Year. This tells us the norm or average is 211.0. That means the student is performing 6.3 points above average. Additional information is also available from the Northwest Evaluation Association at https://www.nwea.org/content/uploads/2011/07/A-Parents-Guide-to-MAP-.pdf Once received by the OCCFR, your invoice will be processed and sent to UW Accounting for payment disbursement. This date will be posted on your online CCTAP account within 3 business days of receipt.  Please allow 3-4 weeks for UW Accounting to issue the provider payment. The date that the check was sent will be posted to your online CCTAP account. If we receive your invoice by the deadline and your provider has not received payment within 4 weeks of the last day of finals, you may contact our office to follow up with UW accounting.  If you have pre-paid your child care costs, you will need to discuss reimbursement with your child care provider.
